Heritage Lighting Design - Day to Night (320 Bay Street)
Project type
Rendering
Date
August 2025
Location
Toronto
Heritage Lighting Design at 320 Bay Street involved creating a detailed lighting visualization for the building’s east and north façades. Using advanced Photoshop compositing, lighting placement and orientation were applied based on provided specifications. Various fixtures, including direct wall sconces and surface linear grazers such as ELT-01, ELT-02, ELT-03, ELT-04, and ELT-05, were carefully positioned to achieve the intended visual effect. The way light interacts with architectural surfaces, including reflections and shadows, was meticulously considered to ensure accuracy and realism. The original daytime photograph was transformed into a compelling nighttime scene, demonstrating proficiency in digital rendering, photo manipulation, and the translation of lighting design concepts into visual storytelling.
